Couch to 5K: Week 2, Day 3

Another great workout today! I ran about 1.82 miles on the treadmill. I am loving using my own C25K playlists. I can’t wait to create the week 3 version for Saturday.

Today also reminded me why I LOVE doing yoga after I run. My heart rate stays in zone for most of the yoga practice. My muscles are warm from the run, so I really get into the yoga faster and deeper.   I do Power Yoga, so I feel like I’ve gotten a complete workout: cardio, strength, stretch.  When I’m done, I feel like melting butter.

Workout Summary:

C25K program: alternate 90 seconds jogging with 2 minutes walking, plus 5 minutes each warm-up and cool-down.
